River Meter has been developed by Roman Victor, an independent software developer and owner of RVPM Designs located in Amherst Massachusetts.

River Meter is designed to allow subscribers to embed links to River Meter’s near-real time river gauges as derived by the USGS. We decided to do this after working with one of our web site customers and realizing that the USGS web site for river flow data was too complicated to easily interpret as well as the need for local knowledge on how to interpret the river flow for safe boating and other activities.
Roman Victor is a software developer and canoeing and sailing enthusiast with over 30 years of commercial software development experience. He is the developer of Pro Home Manager and Attendance Keeper as well as many database driven web sites developed by River Meter’s parent company RVPM Designs.
